Transition 1 - Joe Pool Lake at Cedar Hill State Park
- All bikes must be checked into Transition Saturday, October 4th from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. There will be 24 hour security starting October 4th at 2:00 pm. Transition 1 is located at the Cedar Hill State Park Boat Launch Parking Lot at Joe Pool Lake. Free Shuttles are available from the Hilton Anatole from 1:00PM - 7:00PM leaving every hour on the hour.
- Only athletes wearing the designated athlete wristband will be allowed into the transition area. Wristbands must also be shown when entering Cedar Hill State Park to avoid paying parks fee.
- B&B Bicycles will be on site providing bike support on Saturday from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Check out the shop here.
- Transition 1 opens race morning at 5:00 am and closes at 7:15 am. The Toyota U.S. Open Triathlon begins at 7:30 am.
- Numbered athlete clothing bags will be transported to Transition 2 at American Airlines Center.
**Race management is not responsible for lost or unclaimed items. There will be a “lost items” area at the Life Time Fitness Finish Festival. After 1:00 pm, all unclaimed race bags and “lost items” will be donated to a local charity.
